Hey there! I go by the name of Basti, and I’m a graphic designer residing in Berlin.
I completed my graphic design qualification from Lette-Verein Berlin, and am currently pursuing my passion for communication design at FH Potsdam.
My creative portfolio encompasses a diverse range of visual projects,
from print media to videography and photography.

Ich bin Grafikdesigner aus Berlin, habe meinen entsprechenden Abschluss am Lette-Verein Berlin gemacht und studiere derzeit

Spaziergang durch den Prenzlauer Berg – Book
I printed a book in which I
talk about one of the few boroughs of my home city
Berlin: Prenzlauer Berg.
It tells the story of the district through the lens of history and is contrasted by my own history growing up. My personal stories as well as the personal stories of other generations growing up here are told, while parallel shedding light on the construction of this remarkable place in the heart of Berlin.
begeno16 – Corporate Design
begeno16 (besser genossenschaftlich) is a building coorporative residing in Berlin.
A updated version
of their corporate design was in need so we, along with other teams, took on the opportunity to create a brand new appearance. While most of the elements are designed
for corporate standards, the logo sure pops out. Creating a figurative and not-to-playful key visual was important to contrast the straightforward layout. The colors convey stability in a modern enviroment through
the crisp shade of blue. The contrast also
helps with navigation.
Eisfrau – Redesign
a redesign. The owners wanted to convey
their philosophy and the craftsmanship of their small factory to the outside world. Elements such
as the handmade logo or illustrations that communicate the narrative of local ties were important to them. These elements contrast with the modern typography and clear layout, which allow the elements to breathe with enough white space.
Der hiesige Eisladen aus Potsdam brauchte ein Redesign. Den Besitzer*innen war es wichtig ihre Philosophie und das Handwerk
der kleinen Manufaktur nach Außen zu transportieren. Es erscheinen Elemente, wie das händische Logo oder die Illustrationen, die das
Narrativ der Ortsverbundenheit kommunizieren. Diese stehen
im Kontrast zu der modernen Typografie und dem klaren Layout auf dem die Elemente durch genügend Weißraum atmen können.
Doris and the "white shark café" – anti-extinction campaign
The anthropocene reveals itself as the next major mass extinction event, leading to the permanent disappearance of numerous animal species, some of which are often overlooked. One such species is the great white shark. Feared as a predator of the seas, it indeed plays a crucial role in the marine ecosystem. Therefore, my team
and I have undertaken the task of recontextualizing the great white
shark, shedding light on the significance of biodiversity, and
critically examining the anthropocene as a catastrophe.
